Great staff, food and atmosphere!

Just left. Had their home made onion rings. My wife and I are fussy about onion rings. They were home made golden fried perfect. Had the steak tips. Cooked MR. Spot on, fries and green beens. Neither soggy or old. Kim our server was polite, friendly, efficient and made our visit an enjoyable experience.

The fair was pretty good. Service was really okay. Parking not so good. This place is different. Try it you may really like it. I will be back

My family had a really nice lunch there. Our waitress was friendly and nice. I had a bowl of French onion soup (very beefy and good) and shared the breakfast burger with my son. I thought the burger and fries were both a tiny bit underseasoned but still good. The old trivial pursuit cards scattered around are a nice touch.

A quaint little gem just off route 16 Center Ossippee. We love the railroad decor. I keep returning for their tasty shrimp spinach salad 🥗. My husband enjoyed fried clam dinner. We'll definitely be going back.

Excellent food in a cozy, historic atmosphere with attentive servers. We come here every time we're in the area. The onion rings are made there and incredibly tasty. We've never had a bad meal here. It's definitely worth finding!

Good food, nice atmosphere, good service. Set in an old railroad station, the decor is appropriately themed. The scallops were excellent and the burger was great. The wait staff is friendly and prompt. Great place for families and groups, too.

My fiancé and I stopped in here on our way through the town a week before Christmas. The place was very cute and cozy, and clean! The server was so sweet and polite. The food was delicious, I got the salmon. On our way out the door the waitress gave us a homemade pumpkin bread she made that she gives out to customers, which was such a delicious thoughtful gesture. HIGHLY recommend.

Food was good, but I was surprised to see .99 extra for substituting mashed instead of French fries. Size of fish was skimpy.

Wonderful food, sweet waitress who went the extra mile (thanks Cathy!), great decorations, and all nestled in an old train depot. Smaller portions available on some dishes. I wish every dining experience could be like this. Relaxed and mellow atmosphere. The restaurant gets fresh seafood in everyday. I mean what more could you want?

Decor is charming & the menu is varied. Our meals were delicious but pricey for the area. The waitress was a little edgy. She made a big deal out of us asking for more cream for our iced coffees. Glad we tried it but most likely will not return

I would of given it 4.5 stars but the app won't let me. We were starving and the plate sizes and taste was great. Whie waiting for our food (average amount of time) we were offered rolls. One roll each. Lol. Call me silly but at $14 to $20 a plate only offering one roll each is a bit cheap. The waitress did know we were starving also.

The best things here are obviously the fish, clam chowder was awesome, good homemade food. But it was a little slow, and the lettuce was wilted with all sorts of bad pieces. I read reviews saying it was all old people yelling here, that was not my experience and it was kind of busy. But definitely not loud and definitely no yelling. Mayor credit and the main reason it's getting 4 stars is it might be the cleanest restaurant I've ever been too.

Food was great, service was great, prices were reasonable.

The food tastes like Mom made it. So fresh and delicious. The wait staff is friendly. The atmosphere is laid back and filled with nostalgia.

Let's keep this simple: I love MountainView Station, the food, the decor, the beer, the service. But, mostly the food. Great fish. Always. Nothing shabby about the meatloaf, either. But I go there for my favorites, haddock, fried or baked, scallops, crab cakes, haddock _ and still more haddock, maybe my favorite fried haddock sandwich. No. Not the heart healthy thing, the one with the crispy fries and slaw. If you are really hungry, go early. Don't go in a large group: Much easier to find seats for two! It gets busy, pretty much all the time in the summer. Early is best. Or late. After the rush. Not the easiest place to find the first time out, but after that, you will return. Often. And you won't forget the way. Finally, don't forget the haddock. Wonderful. Every time.

My husband and friends all had seafood which they said was awesome. I had the chicken broccoli Alfredo which was so-so. The sauce was very thin. I felt as though it were missing something and it was only marginally warm. On the plus side, it had lots of broccoli. We will go back for sure. I'll try something different.

Fantastic and fresh seafood, along with a varied menu that should please anyone. Been here twice in a month, and both times the dinners were fantastic. Great Haddock sandwich the first time. Had the "small" portion of Nova Scotia Scallops the second time, which were quite plentiful and reasonably priced as a dinner. You won't go wrong here!

Clean restaurant and the food is consistently good.

26 women at a ladies luncheon. All served in a timely fashion. Waitress was excellent, food hot and delicious. Prices very fair. Best onion rings ever. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If you haven't made a visit, you must. You will not be disappointed.Ladies from Lake Forrest Resort.

I always enjoy this place, nothing fancy- just comfort food. go early or late as it can be noisy due to the small size of the dining rooms.

The food is just absolutely amazing the different specials they have throughout the week we've never had a bad meal here just the best company and wait staff and vibe it's on Corden 19 snowmobiling it is perfect very very cool place

We had a wonderful lunch on a cold day at this cozy restaurant. We ordered a bowl of lobster bisque and a huge hamburger and split both, as we had such generous servings. We will be back.
